Michael Tapia works as the VP of Development and Sales and was recruited from Arizona where he had worked as a freelance Advertising and Marketing Consultant. Tapia has created campaigns for several large firms including Arizona State University, Catholic Charities and a non-profit organization, Imaginations, Inc.
On the other side of the coin, Tapia has worked as well as a journalist. He worked The Scottsdale Tribune and has written for several Arizona based publishers including The Arizona Republic. He worked as an editor, designer, reporter and even delivery boy in the newspaper world.
Tapia studied both Journalism and Film and Media Productions at Arizona State University. Tapia has also been active in many different roles in independent film, including, director, producer and writer. In 2008, he produced the feature film Madison Hall. He has also been very active in documentary work where he has produced films for The Guardian, The New York Times, Washington Post, Hulu.com, and Babblegum.com.
Tapia has creative alliances throughout the U.S., as well as non-profit organizations. He has traveled the world extensively and is well versed in other cultures and speaks Spanish fluently.
